In 2013, a few compassionate brothers collaboratively started an organization and named it "Mates Vision".

Mates Vision's first project was the Orpahn Support Programme. The programme was initiated to provide new EID(Islamic Festival) outfits for children in DHARUL HASANATH CHILDREN'S HOME – Hemmathagama, Sri Lanka. When the program first started in 2013 there were only 60 children. However, this number was gradually increasing and Mates Vision was taking care of more orphans every year.

As a result of this increase, Mates Vision decided to reach out to the broader community in the hope that they will contribute to this worthwhile project. In order to look after the needy, Mates Vision's first income generating was.
